Human Resource Operations

The State Personnel Office (SPO) has organized our internal business processes to promote effective working relationships with New Mexico state agencies under the Executive Branch pursuant to the Personnel Act [NMSA 1978, Sections 10-9-1 to 10-9-25]. The Human Resource Operations Division provides administrative oversight of the State Personnel Board Rules and Regulations (1.7.1 NMAC to 1.7.13 NMAC) for the agencies that have employees covered under the classified service.

 

Our Goal:

To understand the unique requirements of each agency’s business needs while delivering human capital management programs in a partnership that will positively impact an agency’s mission while protecting the rights of our state employees.
