State of New Mexico Residency Preference Points
In accordance with the provisions of NMSA 1978, Section 10-9-13, applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and scoring, shall have two preference points added for each year of residency in New Mexico, not to exceed 10 points.
Each applicant shall certify their New Mexico residency by electronic signature at the end of their application. Upon job offer, applicant may be required to provide documentation verifying residency.
