Union Information
The State of New Mexico is currently signatory to three unions organizations; AFSCME, CWA, and NMMTEA. These unions have organized in 24 state agencies, of which three have representation from both AFSCME and CWA (Human Services Department, Department of Cultural Affairs and Department of Health). The State of New Mexico, Children Youth and Families Department/Juvenile Justice Division is in contract negotiations with The American Federation of Teachers New Mexico, AFL-CIO.
