The Leadership Institute is the State Personnel Office’s flagship series of leadership trainings and serves as an overview for human resources development of managers and supervisors across the state of New Mexico.
In the Institute, participants will take numerous leadership trainings that focus on developing the professional acumen of managers and supervisors in all state agencies. These trainings provide learning opportunities in relevant topic areas pertinent to continuing evolution and progress in leadership expertise. These leadership trainings will place emphasis on competencies, behaviors and proficiency standards at every career level within management and supervision.
The institute will provide participants opportunities to engage and dialogue with each other, presenters and subject matter experts about current best practices in the complex and dynamic field of management and supervision. The conference will showcase human resource experts leading discussions in breakout sessions during the multiple day programs of instruction.
The mission of the Leadership Institute of the State Personnel Office is to offer our series of trainings which will lead to the enhancement of professional knowledge and leadership skills for our most important resource: our colleagues.
