COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR EMPLOYEES
The State Personnel Office strives to promote and maintain a safe, healthy working environment and is doing its part to reduce community spread and ensure the well-being of all State employees. Below is information related to COVID-19 and Human Resources policies and guidelines. Please check back regularly for up-to-date information.
SPO Guidance on Executive Order 2022-010 (May 2, 2022): Provides state agencies and employees with detailed guidance on the implementation and administration of the vaccinate-or-test framework of Executive Order 2022-010.
Executive-Order 2022-010 (Feb. 17, 2022): Requires all employees with the State of New Mexico to provide either proof of COVID-19 vaccination (including a primary series of vaccination and a booster dose by February 17, 2022, or four weeks after becoming eligible for a booster dose) or proof of a COVID-19 viral test every week.
NM Department of Health Public Health Order (Dec. 2, 2021): Requires Congregate Care Facility Workers and Hospital Workers to receive a booster dose of vaccine by January 17, 2022, or four weeks after becoming eligible for a booster dose. at PHO-Vaccines.
