Change Management (CM) Series:

You know what they say: Nothing is permanent except change. Even though it’s unavoidable, change can be challenging. How can you help your team prepare for and adapt to changes in the workplace? We have you covered with a new mini eLearning training series on Change Management. Learn fundamentals of change management, models you can apply, and change communication best practices.

CM #1: Fundamentals of Change Management (SoNM-1802)

First, we’ll define change management, examine the types of organizational change, and uncover best practices for change management. Then, we’ll explore how to overcome common barriers to change.

CM #2: Understanding Change Management Models (SoNM-1803)

First, uncover what change management is and how change management models can help prepare for, implement, and sustain changes. Then, explore the basics of five foundational models and how they work.

CM #3: Change Management Communications (SoNM-1804)

First, find out what change communication entails—discovering its basic principles and learning how to put together a communication strategy. Then, get tips for cultivating better employee buy-in so that everyone is on board.

CM #4: Change Management eLearning Series - Final Assessment (SoNM-1805)

This is the final assessment for the mini eLearning series on Change Management (CM). You must first complete the three prerequisite courses in the series. You will receive a certificate of series completion upon passing this assessment.

Please note:

These courses are for New Mexico State Government Employees ONLY. Classes are offered free of charge. Please register early to reserve your place. You will receive a confirmation of your registration.

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of an accommodation to participate in the class, please email Personnel.Training@spo.nm.gov.
