Living in a Union Environment

This training is for leadership only.

“Living in a Union Environment” (LIUE) is a training course developed to help understand collective bargaining agreements (CBA).  This course covers the grievance and arbitration process, pre-disciplinary investigation meetings, performance appraisals, performance development plans, as well interpretation of language and better understanding of processes and problem solving techniques.

Workplace Investigations

This training is for HR only.

Most human resource professional will need to conduct at least one workplace investigation during the course of their careers.  The goal of this training is to provide tools to conduct workplace investigations utilizing methods applied by experienced workplace investigators.  The State Personnel Office believes the objective a  good workplace investigation is to improve the factual bases of decision –making.  The information provided in this course promotes conducting quality, prompt and fair investigations.
